  • Julia Granet

    Social Media Intern
Julia Granet was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. She is a rising Junior, studying Digital Arts at the UO. She hopes to pursue media in the future, and the internship at Hillel opened up, so her journey begins now.
  • Darian Rosengard

    Development Intern
Darian is studying Planning, Public Policy, and Management with a concentration in Public Leadership, while minoring in Nonprofit Administration and Political Science at University of Oregon. She was born in San Fransisco and grew up in Sacramento, CA.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, a good adventure, and being able to travel and experience new cultures. Darian is excited to be working on the Development Team again this year; helping lead our team to new heights. After her summer internship at Hillel International, she am excited to see what's in store for the Jewish future of Oregon Hillel!
  • Jacob Morgan

    Development Intern
Hi, my name is Jacob Morgan and I'll be a junior for the 2017/2018 school year.  I plan on doing a double major in political science and general social science with a focus on applied business/econ, with a minor in nonprofit management.  Some of my interests are music, reading and hanging with friends, but music is by far the biggest part of my life.  I played throughout middle and high school and am currently teaching myself guitar.  I also love listening and discovering music.  I took this internship for many reasons including gaining work experience, a better understanding of the functions of a nonprofit organization, and just getting more involved with Hillel and the University of Oregon Jewish community.  I hope to help expand Hillel to increase our outreach to all Jewish students in order to create a larger community.
  • Eliana Berman_

    Development Intern
Hi, my name is Eliana Berman and I am a senior studying Planning, Public Policy and Management. I grew up in Portland and Austin, Texas. I love both cities! (I think they're equally weird) I love drawing, ceramics, and banana brownie ice cream from Prince Pucklers. I'm super excited to work with other interns, board members and Hillel students to make this year fun and eventful! I chose to intern with Hillel because the Jewish community has really shaped my college experience and I want to support Hillel's mission and goals.
  • Shea Northfield

    Rosh Chodesh Intern
My name is Shea Northfield and I'll be working as the Rosh Chodesh Intern for the 2017-2018 year. I am from Portland, OR and I'm studying Planning, Public Policy, and Management with an emphasis in Urban Planning. In my free time I love to hike, camp, ski, and read. I'm excited to get more involved with Hillel and work with an incredible intergenerational Rosh Chodesh team.
  • Julia Eisengart

    Engagement Intern
Hey friends! I'm Julia Eisengart, and I have the honor of being one of your engagement interns! I'm studying english and education with a minor in linguistics. I'm originally from San Diego, California and some of my hobbies include embroidery, cloud watching, reading, going to concerts, and movie watching! A fun fact about me is that I've read "the perks of being a wallflower" 25 times. I took this job because I think I have a solid idea of who i am as a jew and through hillel I found the perfect way to embrace and celebrate my individual Judaism, and I  want to be able to help other students find their identity as well.
  • Sarina Rubin

    Engagement Intern
Hey guys! My name is Sarina and I am one of this year’s engagement interns. I am originally from a small town in Colorado, and then moved to Orange County, California when I was around 10. I am a senior this year, majoring in psychology with a minor in chemistry. I am also on the pre-medicine track. Because of that, I spend the majority of my days inside the library buried in books. However, when I’m not on campus, I’m either baking, hiking, or reading. I am a huge book worm and if you’ve ever got a book to recommend/need a book recommended to you, feel free to let me know!
Oregon is so similar to Colorado in the sense of how much nature there is and how granola the people are, that I just fell in love the moment I stepped on campus; I hope you did too! I knew absolutely no one when I started here, and Hillel made me feel like I had a home away from home. I want to extend that same comfort to someone else and make them feel like they always have a safe and loving place to be. If you ever want to chat about life or just need a home cooked meal with friends, I’m more than willing to turn you into my taste-tester for a night! Have a great year everyone!
