  • Terra Zicklin

    Class of 2016

Hey! My name is Terra Zicklin and I'm a Junior from Los Angeles, California. I am majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Business. I love meeting new people, reading, writing, and traveling. I have been very involved in the Jewish Community through Camp Alonim, Temple Judea, and now Oregon Hillel. My goal as President is to continue make Hillel a welcoming place for everyone, where students can feel comfortable creating new experiences and memories. I also want to see more student involvement this year, so if you want to get more involved or if you have any questions, please email me at zicklin@uoregon.edu. I would love to hear from you!

Hey, my name is Ethan Brutzkus and I am a sophomore, Business and Marketing Major at the University of Oregon. Growing up in Los Angeles, Judaism has always been a huge part of my life. I went to a Jewish High School and was very involved with my BBYO chapter. In Fall 2013, I joined the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity, and QuackPAC (UO’s Pro-Israel group). In my free time I like running, golfing, playing soccer and of course eating. I am beyond excited to begin serving as VP of Programming. I love Hillel and I plan on doing whatever I can to make sure others feel the same way. If you ever want to meet with me to work on an event or program please feel free to contact me!

Hey! My name is Tyler Sperling and I’m a sophomore studying sports business here at the University of Oregon. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and I enjoy laughing, baseball, Judaism, meeting people, and of course spending time with my friends both inside and outside of Oregon Hillel. Through the Jewish fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi, and as Vice President of Engagement at Hillel I’ve become very passionate about Jewish life here on campus. At Hillel my goal is to create the same home away from home feeling for all incoming freshman that Hillel gave to me, when I first left for school. Feel free to email anytime!

    Class of 2016

Hey! My name is Galit Shapira and I’m a junior here at the U of O. I am currently a biology/psychology major with the dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. One of my many passions is working with children and trying to be a positive influence in young people’s lives. I was born and raised in the Bay Area of California and was highly involved in the Jewish community there. I was president of my high schools Jew Crew for two years as well as the Judaism and Social Action leader in my BBYO chapter my junior year. I have also worked at the local JCC in my area for the past five years as a camp counselor. I am so excited to be getting more involved in the Jewish community here at the U of O and make Hillel the same home away from home I love so dearly for as many students as I can.

So please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!

    Class of 2017

Hello hello hello!! I’m Sydney Pincus and I hail from the great city of Los Angeles –more specifically, the valley. I am a sophomore here at the UO majoring in Business with an emphasis in Sports Management and (hopefully) minoring in Spanish and Non Profit.
