Amanda Weiss hails from a small village in Rockland County NY. Having lived up and down the east coast for much of her life, she is very excited to now call Oregon home! A graduate of The George Washington University, Amanda majored in Judaic Studies and Psychology, holds a Graduate Certificate in Jewish Non-Profit Management from Gratz College, a Masters in Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, a Graduate Certificate in Jewish Non-Profit Management from Gratz College, and most recently, a Certificate in Jewish Education Specializing in Adolescents and Emerging Adults through Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. In August 2014, Amanda also became part of two inaugural fellowship cohorts: Hillel International’s Engage2Educate Fellows and Taglit Fellows. In her free time (what free time?), Amanda enjoys playing with her lab-boxer Ellie, seeing musicals, finding great bargains, and experimenting with different art forms from piano to micrography to baking. She’s always willing to meet up for coffee (for her, a fat-free Double Chocolaty Chip Frappachino—no whip!), or a mint frozen yogurt at Yogurt Extreme!
